TAST 2012 Week 11 Whipped Wheel Stitch

This week  Take a Stitch Tuesday was a lot of fun.  It took some time--but I really enjoyed doing it.  I had never used beads before when doing this stitch, so I decided to try that as well.  I also used some yarns to wrap with in some of my examples. I really like the way silk ribbon looks for wrapping.  I used 4mm ribbon.

Here is what I came up with:

Thanks for viewing!  : )

  1. These are wonderful examples of the stitch. I love the little half circles down the bottom.

  2. perfect little wheels !

  3. These are all great, but the one that really catches my attention is the white, woolly one. What yarn is used to give it such a poofy look?
