TAST 2012 Week 30 Oyster Stitch

I've been busy with babysitting, seeing my mom, household duties, and making a baby quilt for my 8th grandchild who will be born soon. I didn't really want to do this stitch, but once I started, I really liked it. It didn't take long to finish.

  1. This is really cheerful! In fact, as I glanced down, I like your color sense on all of these.

On the gold center of the flower, is that larger loop part of the oyster stitch elongated, or is it a separate stitch? I like it.

    1. The stitch is an elongated part of the oyster stitch. I am glad you liked this. Thanks.

  2. Very nice oyster stitching! I like how you made the spokes and the ring of the flower as well as the stems and grass :)
