TAST 2012 Weeks 25 and 26 plus another ornament

I have been behind a bit with Take a Stitch Tuesday 2012  found on pintangle.com .  I finished my week 25 and 26 today and am also posting a picture of another ornament I made and gave away.

Here goes:

Week 26 is the palestrina stitch.  I really liked doing this in the thicker threads.



Week 25 is the Cable Chain stitch.

I wasn't sure if I would like doing this stitch--but it was OK.



I really enjoyed making this ornament and wanted to have a picture of it incase I wanted to make one like it again.


The side above is my favorite.

    Your ornament looks very nice and I like the design you did with the cable chain. I too found that I liked the look of the Palestrina stitch using thicker thread.
